Rice's D was also fantastic tonight. If we're going to win a the championship, she will need to bring it like that.
Our running early in the game was phenomenal. Showtime-esque.
The TO's remain a concern (I don't think it's related to running, I think we turn it over more in the half court than when we run). Part of the problem tonight was we got discombobulated in the 2nd quarter with Betts out. It's like the team thought "what do we do now?"
Interesting the Sienna only played 7 minutes. Even more interesting that unless I missed something, Muse entered the game before she did. I'm sure part of the issue was we didn't have anyone that could handle their post-ups. They even scored on Lauren a few times. But, Sienna, in particular could not handle them down low. She gave up at least 3 post-up baskets in her 7 minutes. They got Dugalic a couple of times too, and even Lauren, but against Sienna it was easy money. It's what, the 10th game of her college career? Something like that. She'll get there.
