This has been said before - our achilles heal is turnovers.
Against Texas we had 20 TO's
Against UConn we had 19 to UConn's 7
Even against sc in the B10 Championship game, we had 24*
in the Feb gamd against sc we had 20 turnovers.
It's my perception that most of these turnovers came trying to get the ball in to Lauren. Even in the Texas game, most of our TO's came while trying to feed Lauren in the first half. In the second, changed to more movement and moving Lauren around, and we made it close. And, cut the TO's.
IMO, this season, we can beat anyone but UConn if we move Lauren around. UConn looks overwhelming, so who knows? But, they struggled to beat Michigan. So, they are beatable.
*The ladies did an incredible job on Watkins that night: 9-28, 5 TO's, just a couple of 3's.
