After mentioning that Booker and Jamerson only played a small number of minutes against Cal Poly, and describing when they were taken out of the game, Pierson wrote, "...they were seen on the end of the bench, sitting next to each other looking a little bewildered." That's a lie. They were in the middle of the bench, among the other players, and were quite engaged. They clapped, stood up and cheered, rooted, etc. In all the times I looked at them, both during the game from my seat in Pauley, and upon watching the game recording on the DVR, they didn't look "bewildered," disengaged, or anything else negative.
I have a feeling the coaching staff told Booker that they'd win this game without needing him, so it was a good opportunity to let his ankle heal a bit. They probably also told both Booker and Jamerson that the match-ups didn't favor using them so much, but that we'd be relying on them and counting on them contributing significantly as we enter the full slog of the B10 season.
Anyway, Tracy needs to report facts and, if he wishes, express his opinions, without making things up.
