One of the announcers in their game Sunday said he didn't believe Mara was in as good of shape at UCLA as he is in now. Michigan's style of play and the way Dusty May is using him is more suited for Mara from I have seen of him this year (I've seen all of Michigan's games). For a 7'3 guy, he is running the court very well and getting some slam dunks on the fast break. Seems a lot more comfortable working in the low post too than I recall when he was at UCLA.
