But this isn't your daddy's post-up (or maybe it is, depending on...hoosier daddy)

The reason why the NBA post-up is now the most effective/efficient play is that ~50% of the time, the post-up involves a positional mismatch: a guard on a center, for example.

I thought this chart was very interesting:

I wonder what Ucla's distribution is...and the effectiveness for each play type.

I think Ucla is WELL north of the 18% "iso" rate.
