this year was the one put on Purdue Saturday by Iowa State. Iowa State is quick, very physical (6'8, 6'9, 6'10, all 230 plus front line) and wouldn't let Renn or Cluff dominate the paint like they usually do (14 points between the two of them and Renn only 4). Covered hard out front too and held Purdue's good three point shooters to 4 of 18 threes. Reminded me of one of Howland's old defenses when Mata was playing.
