the article's $10 million club listing is not how much h money each school has to spend but rather how much it is estimated to have already spent. They list UCLA in their second grouping - at least $8 million but short of $10 million. But the doesn't set a ceiling for how much we have that we could spend or how much we might be able to raise and spend if an enticing enough prospect came along.
I admit to not having red the entire article but it would be very interesting to find out how much UCLA has to spend or will spend finalizing our women's team for next year.
With the men's team, I assume we are still looking for another couple or three players to fill out the roster.
