You just made it very clear that UCLA is not a blue blood.

In fairness, though, there really aren't too many programs who deserve that designation. UConn, Kansas, Duke, Gonzaga, Kentucky...I'm not even sure UNC should be in there. Florida is now back on top, but they have not been in the top 15 consistently over the past 20 years. Alabama and Tennessee have been very strong recently. Purdue, maybe Michigan State.

Oregon under Altman has been pretty consistent. Arizona under Miller was pretty strong. Those are really the only two teams from the old Pac who even warrant consideration.

Villanova is an interesting one. They were definitely elite during Wright's prime, but they've since fallen off. Are they a blue blood?
