If Dugalic comes back I don't think that would've given Barker a chance to start. And to be honest I'm not sure she was that good of a fit on the offensive end. If we're going to play through Betts we need knockdown shooters from outside who can punish collapsing defenses. Barker shot under 20% from 3 on the season.
UCLA is apparently strongly in contention for Gianna Kneepkens from Utah. Don't want to count chickens before they hatch but she would be a big upgrade over Jones. Of course that would also mean 7 seniors in our 9 player rotation, which would leave an interesting challenge for 2027.
