Then by the same logic, he didn't want to play for Dana Altman, Nate Oats, Eric Musselman or Rick Barnes among many others. You can't assume any of the elements you mentioned had any influence on him.
There are many factors that go into a choice of school and speculating on what they are for a particular player is pointless. But now just follow the money and one would have identified one of the most important reasons.
One example. Here is something nobody has considered. Burries is represented by Klutch Sports, an agency founded by LeBron James' close friend, Rich Paul. One of Arizona's other recruits is Bryce James. You don't think they had a lot of influence on his choice?
Burries chose Arizona because it was the best situation for him on and off the court, not because any other school wouldn't have been a good choice, too.
