CMC has already proven he is capable of leading teams past that stage. The 2021-2022 team made it to the Final Four and the 2022-2023 team would have likely been at least an Elite Eight team (and possible NC contender) if both Clark and Bona had not both been out with injuries.
The most important position in college basketball (especially in the tournament) is PG and, with Dent, UCLA will likely see significant improvement at that position (compared to the Andrews’ years).
