There are the usual suspects here on BZ who are uncompromisingly hypnotized by his 87 inches.
Those Aday fanboys are unequivocal that Mara is a top-tier game-changer RIGHT NOW, while wearing horse blinders when asked to take a look at his 2024-25 game log.
Aday made remarkable progress from his freshman season. Of course, he was not a Division 1 baller in his frosh yr. Simply could not compete on the court in that initial yr. But, as you so opined, not hardly an elite center in terms of overall productivity.
I expect he will make further major improvement in his Junior season. But, I highly doubt he will be capable of elite productivity over the manifold low blocks demands in a 40-minute game.
