a player who successfully learned all the skills in your posted video in both the women's and men's game. What's taught now are attempts to tie up the player who rebounds the ball and hope that the ref will call it. And those calls must be quite difficult, depending on the ref's position, crowd noise and the score, especially at the end of games.
A player like Bill Walton and Kevin Love can rebound and throw an outlet pass before opposing players have a chance to force a tie up.
I'd like to see a rule change or two for various reasons: one, it slows down the game and forces the refs to make a call, often a subjective one.
