While I do believe CMC has some serious flaws as a Head Coach (while also being Great in other areas), I will wait to see how the team responds to the public torching.
He did this last year after the Utah loss, and TBH, we did play most of our good basketball in the games after that.
I do see a lot of parallels with the Utah game - we gave up a ton of 3's and the offense fell off of a cliff. We did have that one nice stretch v Michigan where we came back and made it look a bit more respectable, but other than that, it would have been exactly the same as the Utah loss with us losing by ~40.
I have my doubts as to whether it will have the same impact, but I'll wait and see. I don't think he can go to that well every year tho and also, this isn't a team of mostly Freshmen, tho they are also (mostly) new to the program.
Regardless, I'll continue to DVR the games, as I still find our offense to be unwatchable for roughly half the game (at least), and need to FF through huge chunks of the games.
