two things -

1) we came out soft in the first half - you fall behind by 18, you expend all your energy just catching back up again

2) the post below - "where's Nwuba?" - given our passivity early and Michigan's two 7 footers (who really, really know how to use their off arm - and elbow - we just have no presence in the paint

Yes, lots of missed FTs and yes, Michigan had a great night shooting from outside, But we allowed Michigan to come in and smash us in the paint and we had no answer to them inside so we had to focus in there and that led to a lot of open shots from outside.
