he said he didn't think it was heart and desire that was an issue with DA's problems.

He acknowledged the problems - and he also did not say they weren't mental. IMO they seem clearly to be.

We know he is capable of much, much more. We saw him delivery at times his freshman year and for the entire last half of last year - leading, scoring, passing the ball - and of course defending.

We also all - including DA and Mick Cronin - can see he is not getting the job done to this point this season.

Perhaps a sports psychologist could help him overcome his demons but other than that he has to play to work through it. Mick is putting him out there but when he's not playing well, replacing him. His minutes are going down. Most who had high projections for us this year assumed Andrews playing at a high level this year. Difficult to see us maximizing the team's potential without DA contributing meaningfully at both ends of the court.

The fact that Cronin continues to put DA out there but is steadily reducing his minutes imo shows that Cronin gets it - both things - giving DA every opportunity to get out of this funk and relying less and less on him as he currently is going
