The game got off to a great start, but we know with CMC's vanilla O in his halfcourt sets there is no way no how that you can count on Skyy Clark to continue to shoot like he did in the opening mins. That said, SkyyMania was sweet as hell.

In the early going UCLA's D was intimidating yoo of aay to an extent, inclusive of numerous steals. That showed up bigtime as AZ had a slew of TO's, even tho the differential narrowed at the close of the half ~ AZ 13 TO's vs 9 for UCLA.

Altho UCLA is dictating pace in this very low scoring game, UCLA is having problems of D with slip screens in which A is scoring too frequently on *assisted* deep in their O paint.

yoo of aay trailertrash fans are outraged in the foul calls in Phoenix (far from Tucson) it's no longer 8:on:5 like back in the McKale Where Visiting Teams Are Whistled To Death Arena. Instead it's PFs at 5-7 in UCLA's favor.

One of the critical problems to address in CMC's vanilla O is Dylan Andrews at the point is totally disengaged thus far in the game. O FGAs!.

Late in the half, AZ's D easily pressed CMC's vanilla O becuz, whelp, it's pure vanilla out of his halfcourt O sets. It's been a perennnial UCLA weakness against competitive-tier teams.

Oh, and our FTs suck.

A recurring problem is bigs, like Veesaar create mismatches for Bilodeau who is a PF as he doesn't match up well with 7 footers like Henry V.

Hopefully our D can carry us, becuz we aren't going to win on the O end.

GO BRUINS!
