The NET rankings really get filled up by the early games, mostly the non-conference games.
The Pac12 did so crappy recently, that in league wins didn't move the NET dial much, we got maybe 3 quad 1 chances in league the past couple of years. In the B1G, there are now more chances for conference games to improve the NET ranking, but our next 3 huge non-conference games will go a long way towards the pecking order for conference wins.
Beating AZ/UNC/Gonz is almost more important to set those for us, especially after the New Mexico clunker.
