I couldn’t agree more. Thr counter argument is for people like me who live across country from their alma mater. I will get to see UCLA’s play Unc next weekend in MSG. But yeah, the atmosphere isn’t gonna be anything like being in the DD or maybe even Pauley if people decide to show up. I imagine INC would force people to show up at Pauley whereas Sourhern Utah doesn’t exactly have that drawing power for Angelinos.
