But I thought the NIL era has changed all of this. The whole "under the table" thing was a pre-NIL phenomenon, right? Now that student-athletes may be paid, I'm not so sure a school like Arizona has the same advantage it may've in the past. UCLA should be able to offer NIL deals to the best talent in the country every year, and if we're not getting top talent, that's on Cronin, imo.
