I was still planning to go, regardless of whether any of you wanted to fly over there with me. But now it's looking unlikely that it's doable. I've looked at hotel and motel prices, and the lowest I could find was some place near Boulder City for $173 or so per night. That's a LONG way away from the arena where the games will be played. Places closer to the arena were all nearly $200/night and up. That's insane! Even if I cut it down to a one-night stay, I won't be paying it. I'm pretty disappointed.
