The article doesn't specify which "second round" they are referring to. Is it the "second round" which used to be known as the "first round," i.e. the first games after the so-called "play-in" games? Or is the "second round" what it used to be, i.e. the weekend games that follow the Thursday-Friday games that follow the so-called "play-in" games?
