semi OT: UCLA baseball locked out of Jackie Robinson stadium

a judge's order has locked UCLA baseball out of use of Jackie Robinson Stadium unless or until something can be worked out. UCLA has leased the land from the V.A. but the judge found this to be a wrong use of the land which was appropriated to the VA for service to veterans as per a story up on BRO. UCLA is expected to release a statement on the matter later today.

Mick Cronin has reportedly offered the baseball program use of the basketball program's locker room facilities for now.

UCLA will have to either work something out with the VA that meets legal requirements for how the VA can make use of the land or will have to find new facilities for its baseball program.

Let's all hope the latter aren't located in Pasadena or Ventura County somewhere
