to college basketball. When they eventually switched to just one main article about the top 25 (or so) devoting one page to each program in the top ten and a paragraph or two for the remaining and maybe one other article about a particular program or player or coach, when that happened I still bought and read the magazine, but I started relying on and referring more to the other publications - first Street and Smith, then later The Sporting News.
Like you, I too have seen the Blue Ribbon publication. I hear it's thorough.
