UCLA prospects generally experienced upward mobility in the new 247Sports basketball recruit rankings for 2025 and 2026.
The Bruins are down to just two targets in the 2025 class: guard Brayden Burries and forward Nikolas Khamenia. Both moved up in the 2025 class rankings.
The 2026 class in the west is loaded, and UCLA is currently targeting the top three prospects in the nation, and seven of the top ten.
It's now an NCAA Recruiting Period, in which it's permissible for coaches to go see recruits off-campus, at their high schools and homes. UCLA has gone to see every 2025 and 2026 prospect on this list. As you can see from the list, UCLA generally didn't have to travel far.
