30mm doesn’t cut the mustard in the future. It’s why Oregon and UW left. They took less than that because in the future they are looking at 60-80. Yes, there were many mistakes that were made (no Directv, Scott wasting $$ on HQ, bad Covid policies, etc) but outside of closing the Oklahoma/Texas deal plus 2 others the PAC was doomed. There just aren’t enough major colleges in the western time zone to have a major conference. It’s hard to convince someone to go west and play night games when a lot of the nation is asleep or out partying depending on your age and lifestyle.
