(1) You don't know where he will stand when the season starts and how improved he might be
(2) He also plays a position where there isn't that much depth on the team: just Mara (currently injured) and Kyle
(2) This doesn't mean he won't transfer at some point
(3) Maybe he just enjoys being at UCLA for the academics, location, social, etc.
