This article attests to UCLA's lost status under Cronin. In the first year in our history we're moving to a new conference, we're not even considered the most "impactful" move nationally. That distinction belongs to Arizona and Tommy Lloyd, supposedly. Lloyd is even called the best coach of the teams moving to new leagues, which is laughable. But it's also a reminder of how Cronin is perceived by national media.
I don't buy the hype on Arizona. They may beat us a lot of the time, but they're not going to come close to winning the Big 12 next year.
