Rico Hines just uploaded another video where the new Bruins (Trent Perry, Eric Freeny, Kobe Johnson, Eric Dailey, William Kyle) play on the winners court, beat James Harden, and lose to UCLA alums. Start watching from 9:45.
Really impressive. The UCLA alumni team is composed of Jaime Jaquez Jr, Johnny Juzang, Amari Bailey, Jaylen Hands, and Kevon Looney.
From the highlights, Trent Perry looked very skilled, but a bit soft, particularly at the beginning of the scrimmage. As the scrimmage went on, his confidence appeared to grow. Freeny looked really solid - seemed comfortable with the physicality of the scrimmages, capable of handling the ball under pressure, able to shoot off the dribble.
William Kyle demonstrates his athleticism and ability to finish around the rim. Kobe Johnson is more of a Swiss army knife player, made a defensive block from behind, and demonstrated vision on offense. Didn't see as much from Dailey.
