all the elements of the Redeemed Team, if not better. Coz I love what the process and mindset was putting that team together. And they succeeded. I want USA to have the same commitment if not better. Than we will be on top of the basketball world again.

Unfortunately, the dedication and commitment to this ebbs and flows. We become serious when folks start chirping that USA isn't top dawg anymore. Majority of our stars commit, team practices/plays together year(s) in advance. Then when we do make it to the top, we revert to our bad ways, losing that commitment and dedication, only putting a team together a few weeks/months before competition, stars not wanting to play, etc. We slowly slip in the rankings again. Then the chirping starts again. It's our ugly cycle and our typical pattern.

The country that I think is really close to the USA in terms of basketball prowess is Canada. Our kids are very similar in style and play. Canadians can easily play college hoops in the US. Play AAU ball in the US. Easily access high schools, athletic-minded high schools (I'm thinking prep academies). So for all intents and purposes, USA and Canada are developing very similar players.
