when he evaluates the type of players he wants. Other than good basic skills and athleticism, I believe he looks more at the attitude, work ethic and competitive spirit of the players he goes after rather than how the so called "experts" rank them. Rankings aren't always true indicators of a player's ultimate potential anyway. Other than maybe the top 10 players in the country, there appears to be a fine line between the rest of the 4s and 5s as far as potential goes, IMO and even a lot of 3s end up as diamonds in the rough that show their true potential after a couple of years.
