No one stat is perfect, but anyway you look at it UCLA returns a LOT of production. I added actual points and three-pointers returned in a second table you can see by following the link. (I was too lazy to do every team.)
UCLA is 4th in actual returning points, instead of 2nd in percentage of returning points.
However, there are issues with that comparison as well. The number is returnign points is influenced by how many games each team played as well as the pace of play. Purdue played more games. Iowa played much faster.
Continuity of roster is hardly a guarantee of success. Just look at Oregon State last season. They returned everyone.
But it helps.
