Love Berke but that's an impossible claim to back up...

Saying Berke is better than players who were mostly starters for their teams when he barely averaged 16 minutes per game, 4.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 0.4 assists(!) while collecting 2.2 personal fouls cannot be supported by any logical assessment of the facts.

Normalizing all of the players' stats to Per 40 Minutes shows just how wide the gap is.

Player, Points, Rebounds, Assists, Fouls
Berke Buyuktuncel, 11.1, 6.1, 1.0, 5.5

Dominick Harris, 20.0, 4.6, 1.5, 3.2
Tyler Bilodeau, 19.3, 7.6, 1.6, 3.9
William Kyle, 18.9, 9.6, 2.4, 2.1
Eric Dailey, 16.7, 8.7, 2.7, 3.6
Skyy Clark, 16.6, 3.9, 3.8, 3.1
Kobe Johnson, 14.0, 5.9, 4.2, 2.9

On a Per-40-Minutes basis, every incoming transfer scored more points, generated more assists, and committed fewer personal fouls than Berke. Berke had more rebounds (per 40 minutes) than 3 players, but of course, not based on actual minutes played.

In seems to me, in the real world, where all UCLA basketball games were played last year, and presumably will be again this year, all of the incoming transfers players are significantly better than what Berke has shown so far.
