With no other 7 footers on the team, or no heavyweight physical defensive post players on the squad to guard him, who could stop him when he gets the ball near the hoop? It's encouraging to hear that he is "unstoppable" and no doubt improving but the experience level, size and strength of the defenders guarding him is not at the same level he will see in actual BIG conference games (at least not in these early practice sessions with only partial squad members present).

As a fan, I'd prefer to see him stay at UCLA and work on his strength and overall game rather than going over to Spain for a tournament. But as a practical matter, I understand why he wants to go. However, I believe leaving for a period of time (probably up to a month) will delay his overall strength and skill development and slow his progress in gaining the ability to dominate at the college level. In addition, I'm hoping he doesn't pick up any bad habits or get injured in the tournament games over in Spain. Otherwise, I would wish him good luck and hope he has a good time over there.
