It's certainly a shock to hear of Bill's passing, but like some, I felt that his disappearance over the past few months from public events was an indicator that something was going on health-wise with him. Bill was one of the greatest basketball players I've had the privilege to watch and one of my favorite Bruin players of all time. Although I knew Bill's brother Bruce, I regret that I never had the opportunity to meet Bill back when I was living in San Diego. He will certainly be missed. RIP Bill.
