returning scorer and rebounder. He led the team in steals and has the best defensive win shares and defensive box plus minus of the returning guards.

He's know Cronin's offense and defense AND he has a year of experience.

He started 29 games last season and I'll bet money he's a starter at the beginning of next season. Maybe not at the end but definitely at the beginning.

Andrews started 31 games. Plus he's clearly the most experienced and productive point guard coming into the season.

Stefanovic started 32 games but will probably have the most competition for playing time. Still, he's definitely a starter at the beginning of the season. PT will probably be situational as the season progresses.

Similarly, I'll give Mara the edge over the incoming transfers, at least in the early season.

The 5th starter at the 3/4 seems like the biggest question mark. However, when push comes to shove, Bilodeau has the most experience as a starter in a power conference, so he's gets the nod.

That makes the starters...

PG Andrews
SG Mack
SF Stefanovic
PF Bilodeau
C Mara

As others have noted, with the depth, experience, and talent the team will have, starters and PT will almost certainly be situational based on matchups -- not the least because Cronin is always seeking to exploit mismatches, so he'll do the most to create mismatches in the Bruins' favor, and minimize their opponents' mismatches.

FWIW
