It was only after we left and the league collapsed that they were forced to take a bad deal with a league that is totally geographically undesirable.
Going to the B1G was a good move for us, but it left Cal in a much weaker spot.
As to whether we should be forced to pay, that isn't based on what's right. It's based on politics. But if we know about the $10 million before we agreed to go to the B1G, we would have gone anyway.
